Homeowners Insurance
Generally speaking,
most Homeowner policies provide coverage for your Home or Condominium,
the Contents of your home, and Other Structures such as a garage
or shed.
Personal property is typically covered
against:

damage by vehicle or aircraft

In addition, coverage can be provided for Personal
Liability, Medical Expenses of Others which result from injury
on your premises and Damage to the Property of Others while on
your premises.
Renters
Coverage is also available. Renters Insurance covers your
belongings while you are living in a home that doesn't belong
to you. Many times, your landlord is not responsible for replacing
your Contents. Coverage is provided for your Contents as well
as your Personal Liability.
Flood Insurance
To get secured financing to buy,
build, or improve structures in Special Flood Hazard Areas you
are required to purchase flood insurance. Lending institutions
that are federally regulated or federally insured must determine
if the structure is located in a SFHA and must provide written
notice requiring flood insurance.
Homeowners that are in a special
flood area may still need to consider flood insurance. Check with
